There’s no clear cut answer for Mexico, as it can vary depending on the region. Mexico City is typically in the Central Time Zone (CT), which is 2 hours ahead of Los Angeles during Standard Time. However, Mexico City, like Los Angeles, may also observe Daylight Saving Time, so the time difference can change to 1 hour during the DST period.

The Eastern part of Mexico, including Cancun and the Riviera Maya, is in the Eastern Time Zone (ET), which is 3 hours ahead of Los Angeles during Standard Time. Similarly, the time difference may become 2 hours during Daylight Saving Time.

The Baja California region in Mexico, including cities like Tijuana and Ensenada, is in the same Pacific Time Zone (PT) as Los Angeles - so there is no time difference between Los Angeles and these areas.

Not all regions in Mexico observe Daylight Saving Time (i.e Sonora) so this can also affect the time difference.
