Amazing Entertainment
Vegas attracts the world’s biggest stars to its spectacular hotels, theatres and entertainment venues for out-of-this-world shows, musicals, concerts and performances. Once-In-A-Lifetime Experiences
There aren’t many places you can hop into a helicopter and glide over one of the seven natural wonders of the world, but in Las Vegas, anything is possible. Take flight above the astonishing Grand Canyon and see this world-famous gorge in all its glory, while later that same day ride a gondola down the canals of Venice at The Venetian Resort and hit the casino for a quick spin on the slot machines and a nightcap.

LAS VEGAS & LOS ANGELES HOLIDAYS FAQS
LAS VEGAS & LOS ANGELES HOLIDAYS FAQS
LAS VEGAS & LOS ANGELES HOLIDAYS FAQS
The best time of year for multi-centre holidays to Las Vegas and Los Angeles are spring and autumn. From March to May, Las Vegas has comfortable temperatures hovering around the mid-20s. It’s a pleasant time of year to go sightseeing without the scorching heat that the summer months bring. Meanwhile, Los Angeles in spring is mild with temperatures in the early 20s.
Autumn in Las Vegas runs from September to November. Temperatures stick to a comfortable 28°C, making it pleasant sightseeing and pool weather. You may encounter more crowds as cooler temperatures increase the number of visitors, though. In Los Angeles, the weather is warm and sunny in the mid-20s. Plus, there are fewer crowds after the summer peak season. Autumn is also a great time of year to see the colourful autumn foliage.
Hollywood is the most famous district in Los Angeles. Sprawled under the Hollywood Sign, the area is a well-established hub for movies, entertainment and celebrities.
Start with the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a historic landmark with over 2,700 brass stars embedded in pavements across 15 blocks to honour entertainers, actors, musicians, directors and more.
See Hollywood through the ages at the Hollywood Museum, which features memorabilia from films and famous actors. Hollywood Wax Museum is another fun place to visit and hang out with famous (wax) faces.
Cinema buffs will love the tours at Universal Studios Hollywood and Paramount Studios where you can catch a glimpse behind the scenes of famous movies. Afterwards, why not catch a flick at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre, which opened in 1922? Don’t forget to visit Griffith Observatory, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Los Angeles and gaze at the stars through its enormous telescopes.
Las Vegas and Los Angeles are both in the same time zone, Pacific Standard Time (PST). There’s no time difference between the two cities, so you don’t have to worry about adjusting your watch for Las Vegas and Los Angeles twin-centre holidays.
Both US destinations are eight hours behind the UK. When US Daylight Saving Time is in effect from the second Sunday of March to the first Sunday in November, the clocks are put forward or pushed back an hour. This means the time difference may temporarily be seven hours behind the UK, instead of eight.
If you’re starting your multi centre holiday in Las Vegas, the easiest airport to fly into is Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). It’s around six miles south of Downtown and just three miles from the famous Strip, with a journey time of less than 15 minutes or 40 minutes by public transport.
When heading to Los Angeles, your top choice is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) which is also the biggest and largest hub in California. It’s approximately 15 miles from the airport to Downtown Los Angeles, and depending on traffic, the journey takes around an hour by car or public transport. If you’re staying closer to Hollywood, you might prefer to go to Hollywood Burbank Airport. Other options include John Wayne Airport and Long Beach Airport.
We are pleased to offer guaranteed prices up to 36 months ahead of your twin-centre holiday. This means you can secure your perfect package with an initial low deposit and pay the remainder of your holiday off in monthly instalments - easy peasy.
This option provides you with the best rates on hotels and flights, so you can start planning your exciting Las Vegas twin-centre holiday.
Yes, there are a few water parks dotted around Las Vegas. They might not come to mind when you think about Las Vegas, but you’ll be glad of the chance to escape the dry desert heat and have some fun while you’re at it - plus kids will love it too!
One of the most popular water parks in the area is Cowabunga Bay Water Park. It has a tropical theme and features thrilling slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, a kids’ area, private cabanas and plenty of places to eat and drink. It’s just under a 20-minute drive from the centre of Las Vegas.
Ranked among the best pools in Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay Beach in MGM Resorts is much more than your average swimming pool. The complex includes four pools, a lazy river, fountains, bars, a beach bar, a beach club, a sandy beach and whirlpools. This attraction is open to the public from Monday to Thursday.
The Splash Zone and Pool at Adventuredome Theme Park is another place to cool off, complete with two swimming pools, a kids’ play area and a 50-foot water slide. Keep in mind that not all swimming pools and water parks are open during the winter months.
Las Vegas’ desert landscape brings with it hot and dry weather, while Los Angeles benefits from a slightly cooler coastal climate. Pack for warm, sunny days and cool evenings for multi-centre holidays in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. This means breathable, lightweight clothing that can be layered up or down.
You’ll need plenty of T-shirts, shorts and light jumpers for the evening or air-conditioned venues. Comfortable shoes are essential for sightseeing and sun protection including a hat and sun cream will be needed in both destinations.
You’ll want to bring swimwear for the beach and swimming pools, naturally. If you want to dine out in Los Angeles or explore the casinos in Las Vegas, pack some smart-casual clothing and a nice pair of shoes.
Los Angeles sits on the Southern California coastline and benefits from 25 miles of beautiful beaches - so you’re spoiled for choice if you’re seeking sun, sea, and sand. Among the top beaches in the Greater Los Angeles Area is Santa Monica State Beach. It’s a generous stretch of white sand that’s home to luxury hotels, plus Santa Monica Pier with its food stands and amusement park.
Another favourite is Venice Beach which continues on from Santa Monica Beach. Here, you can skate or cycle along the Venice Boardwalk, play volleyball, watch street performers or do a workout at Muscle Beach. Over at El Matador Beach, the atmosphere is quieter. Accessible via a steep gravel path, you’re rewarded with sea caves, rock formations and tide pools once you reach it.
If you're interested in watersports like boogie boarding or body surfing, Manhattan Beach and Zuma Beach are hotspots, great for families too. Leo Carrillo State Beach has a camping ground if you want to enjoy your stay for longer.
Las Vegas has an eclectic culinary scene from fine dining to fast food. Restaurants with popular kids’ menus include Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar and North Italia. Cakes and sweet treats can be found at Café Lola and Kona Grill caters to sophisticated young eaters.
Excalibur Hotel hosts mediaeval feasts while you watch knights in action and The Adventuredome at Circus Circus Las Vegas has everything from authentic Mexican food to pizza. If you want to sample the dishes of each state, head to America with its enormous map of the USA. Over at Rainforest Cafe, animal-loving kids will adore the jungle theme.
Dining in Hollywood is a must on your Los Angeles twin-centre holiday. The entertainment capital is well-stocked with dining experiences for the whole family. Enjoy a classic all-American diner at the 1950s Mel's Drive-In. The nostalgic restaurant serves up favourites including burgers, milkshakes and hearty breakfasts.
Another historic restaurant is Miceli’s. The Italian restaurant has been going since 1949 and it’s known for its singing wait staff alongside delicious pasta dishes. If you’re in the mood for Mexican cuisine, Te'Kila Hollywood has a menu featuring tacos, burritos and a lot of tequila.
Plus, don’t leave Hollywood without visiting Musso & Frank Grill. Open since 1919, it’s the oldest restaurant in the district and is well-known for its famous clientele
