Washington D.C. is the capital of the United States and it’s packed with plenty of historical and cultural landmarks that you won’t want to miss!

First, check out the National Mall which is home to the iconic Lincoln Memorial, Reflecting Pool, Washington Monument and the US Capitol. Of course, a visit to the US capital wouldn’t be complete without taking a free tour of the White House.  

History and art lovers should check out the Smithsonian Museums which are free to enter. You can also explore the National Gallery, National Air and Space Museum, the US
