1. Visit the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
At the top of our list is the must-see Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex. While here, visit the Space Shuttle Atlantis Exhibit and US Astronaut Hall of Fame. You can even experience the KSC Up-Close Launch Control Center Tour, which includes Firing Room 4, one of the Launch Control Center’s four firing rooms and the one from which all 21 shuttle launches since 2006 were controlled.

2. Take a trip to the Air Force Space and Missile Museum
Educate yourself about the history of rocketry and space flight, and pay a visit to the two adjoining launch complexes, Launch Complex 26 a
nd Launch Complex 5/6. Launch Complex 26 is the site of the first successful launch of an American satellite, Explorer I, in 1958 by the U.S. Army.
3. Pop by the Exploration Tower
See where the rockets take off with a great view from the seven-story Exploration Tower at Port Canaveral, and grab a bite to eat in the café after purchasing a keepsake from the gift shop.

4. Walk the U.S. Space Walk of Fame
Learn about some of America’s favourite space legends, view memorabilia and find out about the history of the U.S. Space Program at the U.S. Space Walk of Fame.
Open 10am - 5pm, Monday to Saturday. Theres a suggested $5.00 donation for entry.
5. Experience Zero Gravity
Take on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and feel what it’s like to be a real astronaut and experience zero gravity at Zero-G.
The Zero-G Experience is located in Titusville.
6. Head to Cocoa Beach Pier
Want a bite to eat? Head down to Cocoa Beach Pier and dine in some brilliant restaurants, and grab a cold pint at some fantastic bars that overlook Florida’s breathtaking ocean and white sands.
7. Lie back and relax at Canova Beach Park
If you want to take a break from everything space, head to Canova Beach Park, grab a sunbed and a cold drink, and relax in the sizzling sun. Don’t forget the sun cream!
8. Kayak at Cocoa Beach
Get active on Cocoa Beach with some adventurous kayaking – perfect for the whole family! You can experience dolphins, manatees, islands, and a variety of birds out in the open ocean.

9. Mingle with the animals at Brevard Zoo
Get up, close and personal with the animals at Brevard Zoo. From kangaroos and alligators to flamingos and lemurs, there’s something for every animal-lover!
Adults go for $16.00 and children (2-12yrs) go for $12.00. Better yet, children under two years go free!
10. Immerse yourself in culture at Foosaner Art Museum
Have a relaxing stroll around Foosaner Art Museum and view some beautiful works of art – perfect for a quick lunchtime activity. You can then pop down the road for a tasty lunch at one of the areas many restaurants.
Adult admission is $5.00 and children go for $2.00
