Just an hour ride from Orlando and the famous Walt Disney World, Brevard Zoo is a great spot to hit up one evening when you want a break from all that is Disney.

Annual Holiday Festival and St. Petersburg Illuminated Boat Parade
Crazy about the water? Then the
St. Petersburg Illuminated Boat Parade is a fantastic attraction. Head to Vinoy Basin waterfront to see some beautifully decorated boats float by and enjoy a cold beer and snacks on the waterfront.
Beforehand, you can even head to St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts or St. Petersburg Museum of History, both of which sit on the waterfront, and delve into a bit of culture.
Pensacola Winterfest
Experience true community Christmas spirit at the Pensacola Winterfest. Listen to Christmas music, stuff yourself with delicious food from street vendors, and be taken back to your childhood with the Polar Express carriage ride through historical downtown Pensacola.
Pensacola is just a two hour drive from Panama City, so if you’re in the area you should definitely consider heading to this stunning city for a day or two to visit the gorgeous white sandy beaches.
