It has been announced that Walt Disney World will be one of the locations that are expected to begin supporting Apples mobile payment platform, Apple Pay, from Wednesday, December 24th 2014.
WDWMagic (via
iMore) reported that Walt Disney World is set to begin accepting Apple Pay, which will allow guests to tap to pay using their iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus at the Florida resort.
WDWMagic said, “Initially, most stores, quick service restaurants, bars and ticket sales booths will be included” adding, “Any locations that use portable payment terminals, such as table service restaurants, will be added later.”
Apple Pay is already supported in the brick-and-mortar locations and the official iOS app of Disney Store, so wider use of the payment method will be welcomed by customers.
