Your journey begins at a campsite of the 8
th Expedition Company, the research team leading the expedition and from here you’re sent on your way into the unknown. Once beyond the camp, you’ll find yourself surrounded by menacing terrain, showing signs of a native presence and thunderous drums, drawing you toward an ancient temple. As you creep deeper into the ruins, you’ll uncover a lost shrine, and proof that you’re not alone. You ignore warning signs to “turn back” and board a specially designed expedition vehicle that will take you deeper into the heart of the island.
After a short journey through the wild terrain, filled with mysterious sounds and intimidating chants, you confront an enormous temple wall, with carvings and images depicting something you can’t quite understand or comprehend. The temple’s enormous wooden doors slowly open, revealing an entanglement of caves. Inside the caves you’ll find yourself face-to-face with your expedition leader before suddenly being catapulted in the middle of a raging struggle between creatures of ferocity and enormous scale. As the creatures turn on you, there is a gigantic, earth-shattering presence…is it Kong?
