With an array of attractions bringing in tourists from all over the world, Orlando is a competitive playground for chefs and restaurant owners to stand out from the crowd. And with so many different cuisines and appealing menus dotted around the city, it can take more than a delicious plate of food to attract the millions of tourists that visit every year.
Sometimes it’s the ambiance, unique style or the views from a restaurant which really get people talking and insisting to other holidaymaker’s that they ‘must go there’.

Eleven at Reunion Grande
Located on the 11
th floor of
Reunion’s iconic Grande building, Eleven is one of the resort’s signature attractions. With an indoor-outdoor roof-top lounge with a selection of cocktails and a pool on the terrace, it’s easy to see why Eleven is seen as one of the most glamorous venues in Orlando. Prime cuts of beef feature on the steakhouse menu and other selections include Crispy Skinned Duck Breast and Florida Red Snapper. However, it’s the view from the terrace overlooking the golf courses which is truly spectacular. Firework displays from Disney’s Magic Kingdom are watched by Reunion guests from here who stand and enjoy the spectacle with a cocktail or two.
Hillstone Restaurant
On the edge of Lake Killarney sits the increasingly popular Hillstone Restaurant offering a romantic setting with a gazebo out the back for special occasions. The best time to visit this restaurant is during sunset when the sun goes down across the lake and guests can sit and wait for a table with a drink outside enjoying the scenic views. A varied selection of food includes steaks, fish and ribs which is always coupled with impeccable service from the waiters and staff who serve it.
California Grill, Disneys Contemporary Resort
One of Disney’s best and most loved restaurants, California Grill can be found at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort serving the finest Californian cuisine in Orlando. Specialities include a selection of sushi dishes and oak-grilled filet of beef. Yet, the inventive cuisine isn’t the only thing which makes this restaurant stand-out from the crowd. With the restaurant situated on the 15
th floor, guests here can enjoy their meal with outstanding panoramic views of the lagoon, Floridian woodland and Cinderella Castle, which is especially spectacular if you’re lucky enough to be dining when one of Disney’s infamous firework displays explode into action.
Gargi’s
Classic Italian cuisine can be enjoyed at Gargi’s which is located on the edge of Lake Ivanhoe with a beautiful view of the sunset across the lake. One of this elegant restaurant’s highlights is the bistro-style patio which offers the best vantage point to experience the stunning views. Guests here are served a number of classic Italian dishes and there are also some contemporary options which are prepared to the same high standards.
