Gatorland have announced a huge park expansion, a whopping $2.5 million dollars worth and we can’t wait to explore the newest parts of the park, opening to the public in autumn 2017. The largest renovations since Gatorland opened in 1949, the brand new Gator Joe’s Adventure Outpost and Stompin’ Gator Off-Road Adventure, are set to be thrilling, new adventures where you can get close to the gators.
See Florida’s natural beauty on the brand new Stompin Gator Off-Road Adventure, but it won’t be a calm nature tour, don’t you worry. In true Orlando style, you’ll climb aboard 12ft, custom made monster vehicles and hold on tight as you’ll go off-road, exploring several different ecosystems and the creatures who live there. Certainly not for the faint-hearted, you’ll venture to sections of the park which have never been seen by the public before, heading through the swamps to the headwaters of the Everglades. We can guarantee a heart-pumping ride; you’ll go over hills, through mud puddles, creep through a real alligator grave yard and splash your way through a pond full of hundreds of alligators. The Stompin’ Gator Off-Road Adventure gives you the chance to experience Florida’s iconic wildlife, including the infamous gators.
The new place for purchasing and reserving tickets to premium attractions in Gatorland will be Gator Joe’s Adventure Outpost. This will be the hub for ticketing for attractions including Stompin Gator Off-Road Adventure, Screamin Gator Zip Line, Adventure Hour, Gator Night Shine, and Trainer For A Day.
Other attractions at the 100-acre theme park include gator shows such as Gator Wrestlin, Gator Jumparoo, and Up-close Encounters as well as the Gator Gully Splash Park and on-site restaurant. Thrill-seekers can’t get enough of the Screamin Gator Zip Line. Can you handle over 1200 ft of high flying thrills, five intense zip lines, and a massive 150-foot suspension bridge?
