America has a long relationship with hamburgers. They are thought to have made their first appearance at the end of the 19th century/beginning of the 20th century. Traditionally they are made from ground beef in the shape of a patty and sandwiched in a bun. There are claims that they originate in America, probably introduced by German immigrants.

However, their description does not do them justice in this day and age, as they are usually much more than a meat patty sandwiched between a sliced bun.

Here are some of our favorites in and around the Orlando area where healthy salads and soups definitely wont be on the menu!

BB Junction, Winter Park, Orlando

6oz or 10oz burgers hand-formed from local and sustainably reared ground beef are served in a Brioche bun. Order your burgers pink or not pink to your taste. Add any combination of their glorious toppings, including many house-made specialities which range from house-made sauce or pickle to house-made bourbon ham. Other delicacies include pecan-smoked bacon, truffle aioli, ghost chilli cheese, aged cheddar and all the usuals, such as tomato, lettuce and onion. There’s even a veggie burger or a mini burger for the kids!
