For families and groups of travellers, boarding a British Airways flight has just got a whole lot easier thanks to the introduction of multiple mobile boarding passes.
Before the update on the British Airways app, each passenger had to carry their own boarding pass on their own personal smartphone meaning families with young children without phones could not use the mobile option.
The latest British Airways mobile app update allows up to 8 individual boarding passes to be viewed on one phone, as long as those travelling together are booked on the same reference number. This means that those travelling with young children can now use the mobile system to get through security and board a flight making the whole process far easier and quicker.
The British Airways’ mobile app is available now for iPhones and Android devices meaning those travelling under the same booking can swipe between multiple boarding passes on one device.
Multiple mobile boarding passes are available from a number of major UK and European airports, including Dublin, Edinburgh, London and Gatwick.
