It’s going to be a brilliant summer for sport, with the Olympics, the Paralympics, and the UEFA European Football Championship dominating the calendar. First to kick off will be Euro 2024, which takes place from 14th June to 14th July in Germany.
Both England and Scotland qualified and will be giving it their all through the initial group stages, perhaps into the knock-out rounds, and dare we say, the final? The Welsh Dragons lost out on a place in the Euro finals this time round, but if you want to see whales, you can always
visit SeaWorld Orlando!
In Munich on Friday 14th June, Scotland’s Tartan Army will play in the opening match against the host nation, Germany, while England’s first game is against Serbia on Sunday 16th June 2024 at 15:00 EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). With a five-hour time difference between Florida and the UK, all of England’s group games will be in the afternoon in Orlando, meaning you won’t have to stay up all hours to catch a glimpse of The Three Lions on their path to glory.
Our second game will be against Denmark on Thursday June 20th at 12:00 EDT, and the final group stage match is against Slovenia on Thursday 25th June at 15:00 EDT. The Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semi-finals and Final are also being shown at 15:00 and 12:00 EDT, and we are quietly confident that England can go all the way, we are tournament favourites after all!
If you’re flying to the Sunshine State before or during this hotly anticipated event and worried about missing any matches, fear not! We’ve compiled a handy run-down of our favourite Orlando hotspots to watch and join in the football fever, all you need is your England shirt and a big bowl of optimism because this could be the year that football finally comes home…
