Tips to Help You Pick the Right Florida Holiday
Picking the perfect Florida holiday involves careful consideration of various factors to ensure it aligns with your preferences and needs. Here are some tips to help you choose the ideal holiday experience:
Define Your Priorities
Start by identifying what matters most to you in a holiday. Are you seeking relaxation on the beach, thrilling adventures at theme parks, or immersive cultural experiences? Clarifying your priorities will guide your decision-making process.
Consider Your Budget
Determine your budget for the holiday, including accommodation, transportation, activities, dining, and souvenirs. Understand what you can afford and look for options that offer the best value for your money.
Research Different Destinations
Florida offers diverse destinations, each with its own unique attractions and atmosphere. Research popular destinations such as Orlando for theme parks, Miami for vibrant nightlife, or Key West for laid-back island vibes to find the one that suits your preferences.
Check Reviews and Recommendations
Read reviews from other travellers and seek recommendations from friends, family, or online travel communities. Pay attention to feedback about accommodations, attractions, restaurants, and tour operators to ensure a positive experience.
Consider the Time of Year
Florida experiences different seasons and weather patterns throughout the year. Consider factors such as temperature, humidity, rainfall, and peak tourist seasons when planning your visit to ensure optimal weather conditions and avoid overcrowding. Autumn and spring are typically good seasons if you want quieter holidays but still warm weather.
Explore Package Deals
Look for holiday packages that bundle accommodations, transportation, and activities for added convenience and savings. Many travel companies offer package deals tailored to different interests and budgets, so explore your options to find the best fit.
Customise Your Itinerary
Tailor your holiday itinerary to include activities and attractions that align with your interests and preferences. Whether you're a thrill-seeker, nature lover, or food enthusiast, customising your itinerary ensures a personalised and fulfilling holiday experience.
Check for Special Offers and Discounts
Keep an eye out for special offers, promotions, and discounts from travel companies, hotels, attractions, and airlines. Booking during off-peak seasons or taking advantage of early bird deals can help you save money on your Florida holiday.
Plan Ahead
Plan your holiday well in advance to secure the best deals, accommodations, and availability for activities and attractions. Booking early also gives you more time to prepare and anticipate your trip, reducing stress and ensuring a smoother travel experience.
Trust Your Instincts
Ultimately, trust your instincts and choose the holiday that feels right for you. Whether you're drawn to the excitement of theme parks, the tranquillity of beaches, or the charm of historic towns, follow your heart and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Orlando Holidays
Orlando awakens your senses. From the hair-raising thrill of theme parks to the sights and sounds of subtropical wildlife to the taste of multicultural cuisine - it’s always a slice of paradise. For holidays in 2024 and beyond, be sure to check out Walt Disney World’s first-ever reverse coaster. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind rollercoaster, over at Epcot. Plus, if you’re looking for a wild ride for your tastebuds, check out Three Broomsticks over at Universal’s Islands of Adventure™, where you will be transported to the wizarding world of Harry Potter. And remember, outdoor adventures like Gatorland are less than an hour’s drive from Central O-Town.
Miami Holidays
One day of recorded snow in history. Two national parks. And as many sun-drenched beaches as your heart’s desire! The melting pot of Miami is a tourist hot spot packed with possibilities. We love its easy access to the Everglades National Park - the largest subtropical wilderness in the US – which is perfect for getting back to nature. For beach lovers, we suggest discovering why South Beach is beloved worldwide. Along the way, you will witness Miami’s iconic Art Deco architecture as the biggest cruise ships at sea pass by. There’s a reason it’s called the Magic City.
Florida Panhandle holidays
Florida may have a mouse-eared mascot yet beyond Orlando and other famous hot spots like Miami, the Sunshine State has hidden gems from coast to coast. At the northwestern head of Florida lies its crowning glory for natural beauty: the Panhandle. From Florida’s highest waterfall to thousand-year-old caves, here is where you can leave the worries of the modern world behind. Get in touch to check-in and chill out at our variety of Florida Panhandle hotels. Whether you want to overlook the beach or have a rooftop swimming pool, we have all the prime locations for exploring the Panhandle in style.
New York Holidays
New York, New York! You may have heard that one before, but did you know that despite our name, we’re also three-time winners of Best Holiday Company to the entire USA? Our New York holidays can place you at the heart of iconic landmarks and attractions. Such as at the Hotel Edison, only moments from Times Square where Thomas Edison himself turned the lights on. And why stop there, from the Grand Central Terminal to the Statue of Liberty, we can craft an itinerary that rewrites your bucket list. After all, there is no big city break quite like the Big Apple.
Gulf Coast holidays
Escape to the carefree shores of Florida’s Gulf Coast. Here, life moves at the gentle pace of its ocean waves. From the 7 mile stretch of white sands on Anna Maria Island to the home of exotic wildlife on Sanibel, let stress melt away beneath pink sunsets and pastel skies. Dolphins, Turtles, and Manatees are the locals, and yet you can still find attractions worthy of big cities. At destinations such as Naples and Fort Myers, you can indulge in upscale shopping, upmarket golfing greens, and discover luxurious villas in prime locations.
California holidays
California dreaming? America’s coolest state has iconic landmarks all along its coast and is a haven for adventurers at heart. You can cycle amongst the clouds upon San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, surf the famous waves of Long Beach LA or simply walk in awe under thousand-year-old Redwood trees. The Golden State’s charm is its colourful diversity. Glitz and glamour meet idyllic landscapes, for a holiday straight out of your favourite Hollywood movie, finally before your own eyes.
Hawaii
Say aloha to the USA’s southernmost state, Hawaii, and join over ten million travellers who visit the picturesque Pacific islands each year. Above the highest sea cliffs on earth, every sunset is a masterpiece. At the Seven Sacred Pools, every waterfall whispers serenity. At the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, every footstep is otherworldly. Yet wherever you choose to visit, Hawaii’s unique heritage will provide a whole new culture to your stay. For the best of both worlds, we recommend combining a Hawaii holiday with the USA's southern cities. Imagine taking in these beautiful tropical landscapes before taking on the big city adventures of Las Vegas or Los Angeles.
Las Vegas holidays
Las Vegas is a city like no other. For some, it is known as Sin City, but not everything that happens in Vegas must stay there. After all, there's an abundance of family-friendly sights and sounds that ensure cherished holiday memories are always on your plane back home. From rollercoasters and acrobats to wildlife experiences and natural wonders - The Entertainment Capital of the World will have you occupied from dawn ‘til dusk. And we can help you plan your perfect itinerary. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned Las Vegas veteran, we can always show you something new.
Walt Disney World
With 4 theme parks, 2 water parks and 27 resort hotels, Walt Disney World Florida has a fairytale for every type of traveller. And we can ensure you always holiday where the magic happens. From stepping outside your hotel door into a wildlife safari to simply staying steps away from your favourite Disney park – you dream it, we design it. When you arrive, you also expect exclusive Disney guest benefits. Every day, at any Disney theme park, you can enjoy 30 minutes early entry – all you need is a valid park ticket. And the easy access to parks continues with free transportation between resorts, ranging from shuttle buses to monorails or even ferryboats. Yet it’s a quality we can’t define that makes staying on-site so special. You’ve seen all the Disney films, now you simply must live one to know why it’s called the Happiest Place on Earth.
Universal Orlando Resort
Dad embarrassing you at Minion Land. Getting pushed in the pool. Frightening Halloween Horror Nights. Even the ‘bad’ moments are epic at Universal Orlando Resort. Better yet, we can take you to 8 Universal Orlando hotels the heart of the action with blockbuster amenities. You will receive exclusive guest benefits like free transportation to and from theme parks and breeze into them before everyone else with Early Park Admission - including to attractions like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter a whole hour before the muggles. We also recommend checking out the new apex predator of rides, VelociCoaster. Located, at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, this launch coaster reaches G-force speeds of 70 miles per hour.
SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment
Of all of Florida’s theme parks, one architect of adventure has the tallest, fastest, and steepest rides: SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. Across SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, you can ascend to over 300 feet aboard Falcon’s Fury, travel 73 miles per hour on Mako, and drop 93 feet in the air while strapped into Ice Breaker. Plus, SeaWorld has recently launched the world’s first surf coaster, Pipeline, which lets you stand up with unparalleled freedom of movement and surf the clouds. And remember, every visit to SeaWorld is a contribution to the movement of wildlife conservation. For more than 50 years, SeaWorld has rescued and rehabilitated over 40,000 animals.
Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida
Discover a place where childhood imagination blossoms. Ideal for young children’s first ‘rollercoaster’ experience, the Peppa Pig Theme Park lets kids enter a fun fair with Peppa and co, explore a maze in Granny Pig’s Garden and jump, hop, crawl & climb in Rebecca Rabbit’s Playground – just to name a few family-friendly attractions. The park is also a Certified Autism Centre, an accreditation that recognises comprehensive efforts to tailor experiences to individuals with sensory processing issues. As such, you can expect staff trained to have the knowledge, skills, and temperament to cater for children of all cognitive abilities. Before you arrive, be sure to check out their helpful sensory guide online. Upon arrival, families with cognitive differences can also pick up a Hero Pass for immediate boarding at attractions.
Grand Canyon
Calling this wonder of the world ‘grand’ is frankly an understatement of epic proportions. Located just over 100 miles away from Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon can be done in one memorable day trip. We recommend the vantage point of the Grand Canyon Natural Park to gain deeper insight into its history and of course witness magnificent views of the red rock chasms and ravines. To fully explore the Grand Canyon, consider an overnight stay. This way, you could also go kayaking, white water rafting or even book a helicopter flight to for boundless views of this natural wonder.
Yosemite National Park, California
Picture this: dramatic waterfalls, giant sequoias, diverse wildlife, and awe-inspiring cliffs. You have arrived at the Yosemite National Park. Situated in the Sierra Nevada mountains, the grand granite slopes of Half Dome and El Capitan have become the mecca for rock climbing. Yet for relaxation in nature, we recommend hopping aboard the Yosemite Valley Floor Tour. This two-hour open-air tram ride is led by rangers and will guide you through all the highlights of Yosemite. Beyond sightseeing, the park offers opportunities for rafting, skiing (in Badger Pass Ski Area during winter), and horseback riding. Picture authentic California, and you’ll find it here.
John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, Key Largo
Established in 1963, the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park was the first underwater park in the United States. Here, you can experience beautiful marine life and scenic beaches. Located on Key Largo, we recommend the glass-bottom boat rides to witness the vibrant coral reefs in their true splendour. Upon the ocean floor, don’t miss the astonishing two-tonne statue of Jesus Christ, which stands upon a 25 feet platform. Back on land, we also recommend heading over to Cannon Beach. Just 100 feet offshore, these waters feature the remnants of an early Spanish shipwreck, making it an ideal spot for snorkelling.
Wild Florida
For animal lovers, Wild Florida is an essential visit. Here, over 200 native and exotic species await your discovery. Get acquainted with some of the park's notable inhabitants, such as Crusher, the massive 1,000-pound alligator; Nala, the elegant panther; and Luke, the charming ring-tailed lemur. Creatures like Crusher not only exist for viewing but also feature in captivating shows that highlight their species-specific talents. For a more hands-on experience, venture to the Petting Zoo where you can feed a variety of animals, from goats to zebras, and even cradle baby animals in your arms. Or go all out and hit the road on the Drive-Thru Safari Park or the water on an airboat tour of the wetlands.
Discover The Everglades
The stunning Everglades is made up of wetlands spanning two million acres across the southern tip of the Sunshine State. The opportunities for exploring and adventure are limitless here including nature trails, bird watching, alligator spotting, exhilarating boat rides and watersports. The Everglades simply are a must visit if you want to discover a totally different side of Florida.
Florida’s Coastline
Perhaps you’re looking for something more easy-going? Golden sands line the entire state, meaning you have an endless choice when it comes to a great place to lay your beach towels. The Gold Coast has destinations perfect for families and couples, like the fun-filled Daytona Beach and Miami, oozing with glitz and glam. The Gulf Coast is home to plenty of beautiful gems too, including Busch Gardens, Naples Zoo, and sun-soaked beach towns like Tampa and Clearwater. If you’re after a getaway of total relaxation, you’ve also got the Keys down south for the most tranquil of beach getaways.
Las Vegas Strip
The first thing to know is that Las Vegas is positively massive, but a quick way to get acquainted with this bright light city is to take a stroll down the famous Strip. This walk itself could be considered a day trip - from witnessing the iconic light show and fountain at The Bellagio to the free live music on Fremont Street. And of course, you must remember to snap a family photo with the popular Las Vegas sign. Finally, for those who have any doubts about choosing Las Vegas over a short haul European break, you can go from the Eiffel Tower at the Paris hotel to riding gondolas at the Venetian in about fifteen minutes.
Empire State Building
The masterpiece of the New York skyline wouldn’t be complete without the Art Deco design of the Empire State Building. And your break to the Big Apple can only be fulfilled by visiting what was once the tallest building in the world. Since 1930, it has been one of the most iconic landmarks on Earth. Located between Fifth Avenue and Broadway, in Midtown Manhattan, the best views of this skyscraper come from the Observation Decks. Two main observation decks are open to the public. The Main Deck on the 86th floor offers stunning 360-degree views of Manhattan and beyond, while the Top Deck on the 102nd floor offers even higher and less obstructed views.
Miami Architecture
While Miami may not have iconic skyscrapers like New York City, it does have the world's highest density of Art Deco buildings. A remnant of the opulent 1920s, Art Deco design beautifully blends sophistication with minimalism. These buildings are characterised by their bold, geometric shapes and feature striking lines and circular windows. Their pastel hue exudes a tropical vibe, particularly at night when the neon lights shine. Miami’s Art Deco Historic District is an architectural triumph, with each structure as stunning as the last. Our favourite examples of this Art Deco architecture include the Webster and Park Central Hotels, and the Ocean's Ten restaurant.
The Mall at Millenia
Just a 10 minute drive from Universal Orlando Resort, you can discover the prestigious Mall at Millenia – a shopping haven housing more than 150 stores, services, and dining options. Since opening in 2002, it has become one of the most coveted destinations for luxury shopping in Central Florida. Covering an impressive 1.2 million square feet, this extravagant space offers opulent designer boutiques from renowned brands like Apple, MAC Cosmetics, and Victoria's Secret. The Mall at Millenia is also renowned for its modern architecture, including a huge glass ceiling that ensures natural light. Better yet, by booking with Ocean Florida, you will receive a $20 voucher for your shopping spree and free valet parking.
St. Pete Beach
If you’re looking for guaranteed good weather, St. Pete Beach is as close as it gets. Located in St. Petersburg, Florida, you will be basking in the Sun Capital of America, where there is a stunning 361 days of sunshine per year. But that's not the only reason why St Pete Beach was named Trip Advisor’s Best Beach in the USA on multiple occasions: the 28-mile stretch of white sands, palm trees, crystalline waters and untouched barrier islands offer everything you need for sunshine and good times. What’s more, you will only be a short drive from Walt Disney World.
Ponte Vedra Beach
Known as “The Nation’s Oldest City,” St Augustine was the first city in the US to be European-founded. Rich in cultural heritage, it is here that you will uncover Ponte Vedra Beach. At the entrance, a 15-foot statue of explorer Ponce de Leon greets you. It has been more than 500 years since he first made landfall in Florida. Now, The Ponte Vedra Beach area is awash with luxury resorts and facilities alongside 8 miles of pristine beachfront. However, you have the chance of a completely free souvenir at low tide - the area is well known for finding shark teeth along the shore.
Laguna Beach
Quintessentially California, Laguna Beach offers a lot more than sunbathing. Boasting more than 30 coves and beaches, the area is also popular for surfing and exploring tidepools. What’s more, to experience the cultural buzz of Laguna Beach, we recommend visiting the ‘Main Beach’. Nestled downtown, you can walk in the footsteps of celebrities on the boardwalk, dive into beach volleyball, herd the kids over to the play area, and observe marine life at low tide. All whilst being within walking distance of renowned restaurants, art galleries and shops.
Daytona Beach
With sugar-soft sands and a prime location that’s just an hour’s drive from Orlando, Daytona Beach attracts all kinds of tourists. Yet we would like to highlight its excellent accessibility for wheelchair users. Due to the hard-packed, flat terrain of Daytona Beach, it is possible to drive a wheelchair to the water’s edge. What’s more, there is a Beach Patrol team on hand to provide all-terrain wheelchairs at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis. Just moments from the beach, there is also the Daytona Lagoon water park. And plan your timing right and you will have the chance to combine beach relaxation with high octane action – every February the city hosts the famous 500 NASCAR race.
South Miami Beach
Boasting the most famous sands in Miami and the hallmark for picturesque ocean fronts, South Beach is an iconic destination. Here you will discover a lively atmosphere that isn’t matched anywhere else. Plus, the surrounding Art Deco architecture, including a total of 800 buildings, undoubtedly adds to its appeal. For an active stay, head over to Haulover Park for fishing, tennis, golf, bicycle rides and more. In all honesty, if you don't see a chic dressed roller bladder pass you by, you may not be in South Beach!
North Miami Beach
If you are looking for somewhere quieter than South Beach, North Miami Beach is for you. Here, you can still enjoy the shores of "America's Riviera," but in a family-oriented environment. A highlight is the Bandshell, a giant green space where kids can play under canopies and the shade of trees beside the ocean. Families can also use the many barbecue grills and picnic benches with enough privacy to relax in their own company. Better yet, if you feel like beach-hopping, there is a flat path leading straight to Miami’s other beaches for wherever the mood takes you.
Pompano Beach
300 miles of inland waterways earn Fort Lauderdale the title as the “Venice of America.” The vast waterfront is intersected by canals hosting gondola rides and water taxis to the many stylish attractions. One-stop you won’t want to miss is Pompano Beach, where there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Diving enthusiasts can explore 18 shipwrecks, kids can let loose in the playground, adults will appreciate the trendy two-story restaurant and all ages can board a tranquil boat ride along the coast.
Try not to do everything at once
A one- or two-week holiday cannot uncover all of the USA, so don’t try to cram too much in and burn yourselves out. Instead, refine what you need for this time around. Are you seeking thrilling roller coaster rides, relaxing days by the ocean, vibrant city nightlife, or immersive nature experiences? Identify your travel goals and we can build your itinerary around them.
Leave luggage space
When preparing for a USA holiday, consider all the alluring shopping opportunities you’ll have. We’re not saying you’ll need to buy another suitcase for all your finds, but it has been known to happen!
And remember, when you book a Florida holiday with Ocean Florida, you get free Orlando experiences worth up to $440 per family - including a $20 voucher per person at The Mall at Millenia. Better yet, you can arrive with free valet parking, on us.
Explore state parks and natural wonders
When we think of the USA, big city breaks often come to mind. The Empire State Building. Walt Disney World. The Las Vegas Strip. Yet there are nearly 4,000 state parks in the USA, with plenty of natural wonders to uncover along the way.
For our most popular destination, Orlando, we recommend taking the time to visit the nearby Everglades National Park. Here, you can venture through wetlands, forests and waterways and say hi to the State’s most famous resident, the alligator - as well as another notable native, the Florida Panther.
Download the My Disney Experience App
One of our biggest tips for Florida holiday travel is to download the My Disney Experience App, particularly if you’ve booked the Disney Dining Package. This app will provide a seamless experience for ordering meals on the go, reserving tables and avoiding those lengthy wait times for rides.
Consider packing insect repellent
Subtropical climates, such as Florida or Texas have a high mosquito population. So consider packing insect repellent sprays and protective creams, particularly for the early mornings and evenings in the summer months, and especially near bodies of water, including pools, swamps, and lakes.
Know the time difference
The United States spans multiple time zones and varies by state or region. Here's a breakdown of the time zones for popular US destinations:
- Eastern Standard Time (EST) – 5 hours behind the UK, including the cities of New York, Washington D.C., and Atlanta
- Central Standard Time (CST) – 6 hours behind the UK, including cities like Chicago and Dallas
- Mountain Standard Time (MST): 7 hours behind the UK, including cities like Denver and Phoenix
- Pacific Standard Time (PST): 8 hours behind the UK, including cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco
- Alaska Standard Time (AKST): 9 hours behind the UK
- Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time (HAST): 10 hours behind the UK
It's also important to consider that both the UK and parts of the USA observe Daylight Saving Time (DST), which can change the time difference at certain parts of the year. Some states also cover 2 time zones, including Florida. The western part of Florida (the panhandle south of Alabama) is in the Central Time zone (- 6h) whilst the rest of the state uses Eastern Time ( (- 5h).
Consider more than one airport
Orlando alone has three international airports offering both charter and scheduled flights. The primary airport for UK tourists is Orlando International Airport (MCO), yet there is also the nearby Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and Melbourne Orlando International (MLB) that can offer less crowded arrivals and quicker departures.
In New York, major airports include the well-known John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) but also LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), not to mention the several smaller airports like Albany International Airport, Buffalo Niagara International Airport, and Rochester International Airport.
All in all, it can pay off to know about alternate flight routes to save time and money. For more information, just ask our USA experts.
Keep your ID on you
You may believe that your days of being asked for identification are behind you, but it’s wise to keep your ID on you when visiting places that serve alcohol. Certain states have stringent regulations and even though you may be over 21, you could still be asked to show your proof of age before entering a licenced venue.
Don’t underestimate the USA’s size
If you’re planning to explore, it's important to familiarise yourself with major routes and verify distances and travel times in advance. Consider this: Orlando is well placed in Central Florida, but it takes around four hours or more to drive down to Miami and the start of the Florida Keys. Meanwhile, heading to the beaches in the Panhandle takes more than six hours northward. And while Route 66 is indeed iconic, few ever mention that it is 2448 miles long.
Pack comfortable clothing for theme parks
Navigating the parks can be a sweaty affair, so remember to pack breathable attire that dries quickly, particularly for water attractions – and especially if you’re visiting SeaWorld. Investing in a poncho may also pay off! And needless to say, comfy shoes are essential given the amount of walking you'll be doing –but just imagine the impressive number of steps you'll rack up.
Think Multi-Centre Holidays
Endless sunshine, lush landscapes, and diverse cultures - long-haul vacations have so much to offer. And what destination is more enticing than America? That’s why some say the only thing better than one US destination is two.
After all, Orlando may be the Theme Park Capital of the World, but it lacks one of Florida’s most loved commodities: beaches. And frankly, falling in love with Florida a place at a time lets you experience the true splendour of the Sunshine State.
Further afield, why not combine the dazzling city lights of Times Square with stargazing in the Caribbean and losing track of time?
The possibilities are endless, and memories are for making.
Salvador Dali Museum
Step into the mind of Salvador Dali as you gaze upon his artwork in Florida. Located in St. Petersburg the Salvador Dali Museum features art from one of the most influential and innovative artists in history. With over 2,000 pieces of art consisting of oil paintings, sculptures manuscripts, and more, you'll be sure to spend the day in complete awe.
The Coral Castle Museum in Homestead
Bet you've never seen coral like this before! The Coral Castle Museum in Homestead is a wonderful twist on the natural element. This phenomenal masterpiece was secretly crafted by one man - Ed Leedskalnin until it all 1,100 tons of coral rock came together perfectly. Take a trip to see this castle that still has scientists, engineers, and scholars utterly amazed!
Ernest Hemingway's Home and Museum
For all you literary lovers, feast your eyes on the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum. Take a tour around the famous writer's home, where he lived for 10 years and created his work. Not to mention the lush gardens around the grounds. Recognized by the Library of Congress for its importance in U.S. History, make time to visit this historical home.
Key Lime Pie
Get ready for a treat that's hard to beat with Florida's famous Key Lime Pie. You won't find a dessert menu without this state delicacy. If you'd rather spend the night in your Florida villa, whip out a homemade recipe for the whole family to enjoy!
Cuban Sandwich
After a long day at the theme parks, why not dig into a delicious Cuban Sandwich? This particular meal came after the 1950s, when a mass number of Cubans migrated into Miami, following the Cuban revolution. Make sure to visit the Colombian restaurant and Enriqueta's Sandwich Shop, to try some of the best Florida has to offer.
Stone Crabs
Due to its abundant coastline, Florida is perfect for lovers of seafood. And few are tastier than Stone Crabs. These crabs are in season between October and May, so if you’re a dedicated foodie, it might be worth planning your trip around these months.

The debate about which accommodation type is better is up there with Pepsi versus Coke or Ketchup versus Mayonnaise. Thankfully, using decades of first-hand experience, we can help you decide which type of Orlando holiday is to your taste today.
Reasons to book an Orlando hotel include convenience and amenities in abundance. An array of Orlando hotels are located within or nearby theme park resorts. Beyond the well-known favourites such as Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge or Universal’s Endless Summer Resort, there are also theme park partner hotels that can be more affordable options. This includes our preferred partner hotel, the Drury Plaza in the Disney Springs Area and the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando on International Drive.
Prominent reasons to book an Orlando villa holiday include the utmost privacy and home comforts. More than ever, staying in a home-from-home can provide the space you need to truly relax and reconnect with your nearest and dearest to reconnect. Plus, whilst the amenities of an Orlando villa may be relatively modest, a simple secluded swimming pool overlooked by open-plan living can feel like all you need to disconnect from stress. Better yet, if you choose the right villa resort, you can still enjoy a host of on-site attractions. For example, at ChampionsGate you can experience 36 holes of championship golf, a resort-style pool, a lazy river, and a variety of dining options.
Ultimately, deciding between an Orlando villa or hotel comes down to your preferred location, budget, and size of your group. For any more guidance, just get in touch.
